They have arrived

5 beautiful babies, all doing very well.  The first baby was born at 22:32 a brown tabby weighing 71g at 22:52 a si-rex was born weighing 75g, at 23:32 a 92g si-rex was born and a gorgeous red tabby popped out at 23:42 weighing 79g and finally at 3 minutes past midnight what looks like a black ticked tabby weighing 81g.  I haven't put the sexes as I can be incorrect at this stage although I am pretty sure.  They were all born head first too which is unusual for Kimba as she always has half born head first and half bottom first.

So pleased to announce that we have Whimzeerex babies, they arrived between 10pm and midnight.  Mom and babies are doing very well, hungry too they are, I have to hand feed for 24 hours due to blood typing of the parents.  Mom has a medical romper suit on to stop babies feeding but gives her the important bonding time.  It looks like I have a black ticked tabby, brown tabby with some lovely markings, a gorgeous red tabby and what looks like 2 si-rex.  It's 2:30am, time for a coffee before the babies next feed and then I may try to get some sleep for a couple of hours.  I have even put all the towels in the machine ready for the next litter - note to self don't bother with baby changing mats as Mom refused to give birth on them.
