Watch the video, and then you'll see why I am worn out and have no time for house work - so when you visit please forgive the untidy house, as once I have cleaned the kittens pens I'm exhausted, and whilst I am uploading this video they are still going at it - crazy kittens
Well I don't know where the time has gone, it's flown by. I have been enjoying kitten cuddles far too much and the house is neglected - who cares the babies are gorgeous. They are all doing so well, and are very playful now, whilst litter training continues they cannot have the run of the lounge yet but I have provided them with 2 pens joined together, we can just about see the tv. In this short clip not all the babies are featured as some were sleeping but I will upload more videos as I think this gives you a much better look at the babies and how they play. Enjoy............................ Weaning has been underway for a just under a week now, with me giving the babies a mix of ground Royal Canin babycat mixed with Cimicat baby milk, they all had their share from a syringe, no-one refuses to have some. So today I set up a small pen and put all babies in it, the clean up after was quite something!!!! This is the first time of having 3 litters together, I am thoroughly enjoying every moment. Their personalities are beginning to come through now so watch out for individual write ups for them all. I am happy to report that all babies are doing well, a little girl of Eeva's is lagging behind weight-wise, but more than makes up for it in cuteness. Kimba and Nahla's babies are all together and the 2 Mom's happily look after each others babies, Helga sneaks in for cuddles with her Mom Nahla and the babies love her too. With regular blanket and towel changes, my washing machine is always on, tray cleaning is also an everyday occurrence with every other day tray changes for everyone. I have introduced a low sided tray so when the babies are ready they can explore the tray. Soon be time for weaning, let the fun begin. I have updated the Newborn page with their weights and progress so far. All babies continue to thrive, some slower than others but all at this stage are well as are the Moms. My Son Robert and his mate Russ are very kindly building a house for Hekta, I am so pleased with the progress so far, Hekta is going to love it. |
